- Always scoop your dog’s poop, and place in receptacles provided.
- Any dog with a history of aggressive behavior is prohibited from using the Park. If your do shows signs of aggressive behavior after entering the Park (towards people or other dogs), you must remove your dog from the Park immediately.

- Shoes must be worn at all times (that is for the humans)
- Some dogs are big talkers; please discourage excessive barking when possible.
- Each handler is legally responsible for his or her dog; therefore, each handler is responsible for supervision and behavior of his or her animal at all times.
In addition to the official dog park rules, here are some suggestions you should consider to make your visit to the dog park a success.
First time users should consider coming at off-peak times (usually weekdays before 3 – 5pm) for their initial visit. Ask experienced dog park users about how to ease your dog’s initial stress of entering the dog park for the first time. It may be helpful to first visit without your dog and observe the dog park users. If you are not sure how your dog will react to he current conditions, do not force your dog into a stressful situation. Instead, come back at another time when the park is less crowded.
In entering or leaving the off-leash area, do not enter the transition area while someone is already in it. This will eliminate the possibility of both gates being opened at the same time.
To avoid your dog from being overwhelmed upon arrival at the park, move away from the entrance shortly after entering. This will help disperse the group of dogs that will come over to welcome your dog into the park. Move away from the fence so that your dog will not feel cornered.
One of the primary goals of a dog park is to socialize dogs to have good manners. We should always be considerate of others so the dog park will be an enjoyable, healthy, and educational experience for handlers and dogs.
